The Faculty of Natural Sciences

The Faculty of Natural Sciences is one of the most prominent faculties in which the student studies various types of sciences related to organisms, whether living or non-living, related to nature, learning about the phenomena in the world, and trying to explain them through a set of evidence and proofs that are obtained through scientific research and different studies.

The Faculty meets the needs of the local community from specialized and qualified cadres who hold a certificate from the Faculty of Natural Sciences, where the study is 4 years, in which the student studies all kinds of sciences, both living and non-living, related to nature.

It aims to:

1- Providing the student with a set of knowledge and skills related to the natural sciences.

2- Enhancing human capabilities in preserving natural resources and reducing environmental degradation and climate change.

3- Energy conservation and promotion of renewable energy sources.

4- Linking the natural sciences with society.

5- Graduating cadres capable of education and creativity to increase the benefit and manage natural resources.

Courses:

It differs from one department to another due to the nature of the department, and it includes in general scientific and applied subjects, some of which need laboratories, and some that need scientific studies related to the above-mentioned departments in addition to general subjects that develop the student’s skills to collect knowledge and apply it on the ground.

Fields of work after graduation:

1-The graduated students can teach in middle and high schools in their specialties.

2- They can work as teaching assistants in their specializations at the university.

3- In addition to other areas related to the mentioned departments.
