University Council:

 

It is the supreme decision-making body in the university. It includes all components of the university. It represents the university independently and confederally. It consists of: spokespeople for university students, spokespeople for each of the literary and scientific departments in postgraduate studies, department managers and a spokesperson for the teachers of each college and institute, and the co-presidencies of colleges and institutes. And graduate studies, spokeswomen for the Women's Council and the co-presidency of the university and its deputies.

 

Duties of the University Council:

 

1- Follow up on the implementation of the decisions taken at the general meeting of universities, which is held once every two years.

2- Applying and following up the university’s program and internal system.

3- The Disciplinary Committee at the university is proposed by the university's administrative body and approved by the university council

4- It meets at the end of each semester and in emergency cases to evaluate the reports of the completed work and to approve the work plans. The Women's Council and the Student Council hold their meeting before the University Council meeting.
